Role: Fair Cost of Care Assessor
Salary: Up to £38,000 per annum + £5,000 car allowance
Location: Remote with National Travel
Your Role
- Completing assessment and evidencing nationally (England, Wales and Scotland) where there is an inappropriate fee reduction proposed by a funder.
- Liaising on a case load basis between Operations to defend potential inappropriate reductions in fees.
- Gathering of information from Operators that will help to guide ongoing priority services and people we support.
- Supporting Managers in preparing for reviews to make sure that all evidence is in place in an accessible format to defend a proposed inappropriate reduction.
- Attending reviews where there is a level of complexity that requires support for the Service Manager.
- Maintaining detailed and accurate records for progress for wider reporting.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Experience in either a Commercial or operational role supporting people with learning disabilities and complex needs.
- Skilled and knowledgeable in creative and person-centered approaches to work with people.
- Clear understanding of confidentiality, safeguarding & equal opportunities (equality & diversity).
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain insight clearly and succinctly.
